“SPOT OF BEAUTY” AWARD GARNERED AT 132 N. KINGSTON AVENUE

 

ROCKWOOD – Paul and Diane Manning have won the Spot of Beauty Award for efforts at their residence on 132 N. Kingston Avenue in Rockwood.

    This home is included in Rockwood's walking tour and was built in 1905 by Fred G. Haggard. “This beautiful historic home and lawn evidence great pride in our heritage as well as in our town,” related Angela Couch, Rockwood 2000 Program Director.

     Spot of Beauty Award recipients meet the criteria of having an attractive, well kept yard; showing creativity in seasonal plantings, and using a balance of both trees and flowers. Nominations for the award can be placed online at www.rockwood2000.com.  This project supports the Rockwood 2000 goal of the beautification of Rockwood.
