ROCKWOOD – The fifth presentation of the Rockwood Spot of Beauty Program for 2005 has been given to Jere and Carol Hall of 180 Cabot Lane and to Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Hamby of 148 Country Club Road.
"Jere and Carol Hall's home has a gorgeous collection of different types of shrubs, bushes and flowers. This assortment enhances their brick ranch home exceptionally well. Over at the Hamby's there is a wonderfully planted area surrounding their gazebo that projects serenity. The remainder of their lawn is also well planted and maintained," according to Angela Couch, Rockwood 2000 Spot of Beauty Program Manager.
Spot of Beauty Awards support the Rockwood 2000 goal of the beautification of Rockwood. Award recipients meet the criteria of having an attractive, well kept yard; showing creativity in seasonal plantings, and using a balance of both trees and flowers.
