ROCKWOOD – Angela Couch,
Rockwood 2000 announced the kick-off of the annual Spot of Beauty Recognition
program. The Spot of Beauty Award is awarded bi-weekly to homes in Rockwood that
exemplify standards of excellence in appearance.
“Nominees are judged on basically three criteria,” according to Couch. “Winners will have an attractive, well kept yard; show creativity in seasonal plantings, and use a balance of both trees and flowers.”
Spot of Beauty Award recipients will receive a certificate of appreciation and a sign to display in their yards. Nominations for the award can be placed online at www.rockwood2000.com. This project supports the Rockwood 2000 goal of the beautification of Rockwood.
